페리선에 걸린 고래

무게가 25t이나 나가고 길이가 15m나 되는 고래가 15일 이탈리아 북부 리보르노항에서 모비 아키 페리선 뱃머리에 걸쳐져 있는 것이 보인다. 이 페리선은 사르디니아의 올비아에서 리보르노로 항해하던 도중 이 고래와 부딪친 것으로 추정되는 데 전문가들은 부딪칠 당시 이고래는 이미 죽어있었을 것으로 판단되며 항구에 도착해 배가 운항에 문제가 있을 때까지 고래가 걸려 있는 것을 아무도 알아차리지 못했다는 것이다.(AP=연합뉴스)
