Description		집호리가슴개미 Leptothorax congruus (Korean Ant) 개미 Leptothorax congruus 개미과에 딸린 곤충. 몸길이는 5~15mm쯤이고 몸빛은 검은색 또는 적갈색이다. 허리가 몹시 가늘고 잘록하며 실같은 더듬이(촉각)는 좀 구부정하고 발은 3쌍이다. 질서있는 사회생활을 하며 여왕개미, 수개미, 일개미, 병정개미들로 구성된다. 수정란은 암컷이 되는데 영양급식이 좋으면 여왕개미가 되고 급식이 나쁘면 일개미가 된다. 출처: 동물형태도감 (계몽사, 1993년)
