Description		큰뿔양 Ovis canadensis (Bighorn Sheep) 큰뿔양 Ovis canadensis 소과에 딸린 야생양의 하나. 수커의 몸길이 160~190cm, 어깨 높이 90~110cm쯤이며 암컷은 수컷보다 작다. 몸빛은 서식지나 개체에 따라서 다르며 흰색, 회색, 짙은 갈색 등 여러 가지 빛깔이 있다. 수컷의 뿔의 기부가 굵고 용수철 모양으로 구부러져 있다. 시베리아 및 북아메리카를 거쳐 멕시코까지의 산지에 분포한다. 출처: 동물형태도감 (계몽사, 1993년)
