=========
The desert cottontail (Sylvilagus audubonii), also known as Audubon's cottontail, is a New World cottontail rabbit, and a member of the family Leporidae. Cottontails give birth to their kits in burrows vacated by other mammals. Like all cottontail rabbits, the desert cottontail has a greyish-brown, rounded tail with a broad white edge and white underside, which is visible as it runs away. It also has white fur on the belly. Order: Lagomorpha > Family: Leporidae > Genus: Sylvilagus > Species: Sylvilagus audubonii

Dear Donald Mathis,
I’m writing you from Instituto de Ecolog??a, A.C. (M??xico), we are
working with the edition of the book “Mam??feros de la Reserva de la
Biosfera de Mapim??”. This is a guide of the mammals of this protected
area in Durango, Mexico. Searching in your web page I found photos of
the species which is include in the book. We would like you could
support this project and collaborate with your photography.
This book will be a co-edition with INE (Instituto Nacional de
Ecolog??a ??? National Ecology Institute of the mexican government)
I’m attaching you a layout of the page, here you can see how we are
going to use the photos; the credits will be at the end in the
photographic index. For the collaborators we will send them a guide
as soon is published.
Thanks for your kind attention to this matter and we hope your answer
could be positive. I would like that send me your autorization in
letter and the picture with more quality to my adress.
Kind regards
Elizabeth E. Arag??n Pi??a
