Hi there, I am from Australia as per my email
address. The picture you have is definitely one of the
glider possums. This can be told by the folds of skin
that appear and show in this picture between its
feet. This skin spreads out down its body along its
side. Good on you
I feed brushtail possums in my backyard.

Hi! The scientific name for the Sugar Glider (not Sugar Glider Possum)
is Petaurus breviceps. Also, it should be placed under the
marsupials section as it is a marsupial.

Cheers,

Rob.

Good morning

I just wan't to make sure of the classification of these critters.
There are two possums, the Squirrel glider (Petaurus norfolcensis)
and the Sugar glider (Petaurus breviceps). This photo actually
looks like the Squirrel glider as it seems to have a more pointed face
and larger ears.

Thank you

Cecile Morgan
