Subject: AAA - My want list
Date: Sat, 25 Jan 1997 12:52:29 -0500

My want list is so long, I'll go through the whole alphabet. Let's stick
to the A's for today.

AARDVARK - Couldn't find a single one in six months of net-safari
(desparately wanted)

Agouti - Squirrel-like african rodent, I am posting a poor picture of
this critter in one of the following messages.

Albatross - Thousands of firms use this word as a trade name. Search
engines post crap by the ton. A poor picture is posted further down.

Alpaga - a variety of lama (or Llama)

Astrakan - a variety of sheep renowned for the softness of its wool.

Aligator - I am also posting some of those.

Antelope - All kinds

Armadillos - Another elusive character. A posting follows.

Correct,....It is Bob Clark's leucistic Burmese Python from many years ago. The only one in existence at the time,....I heard from some other "snake" people that he paid $80,000 for it,.....he bred it with another normal Burmese to make recessive gene carriers(heterozygous) for this extremely rare trait, and from what I heard, she later became egg-bound and died. What a devastating blow that must have been for him,.......what a shame......................D. Mong
