A red-tailed Hawk believed to be one of a pair that had occupied a nest at 927 5th Avenue in New York City, circles near the building as it carries a twig in it's mouth in New York City, December 16, 2004. 'Pale Male' and 'Lolita' are a pair of red-tailed hawks whose nest was removed by an Upper East Side co-op board at 927 5th Avenue earlier this month. The building has since decided to allow the now famous pair of hawks to rebuild their nest if they choose to after it makes modifications to the ledge above a window where the nest was located.
