Description		Maned sloth (Bradypus torquatus) The maned sloth is a three-toed sloth found exclusively in the Atlantic coastal rainforest of southeastern Brazil. It Is present in three Brazilian states: Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro and Bahia. The species is distinguished by the mane of long black hair on its neck and shoulders, which is particularly prominent in males. The lifespan of the maned sloth is known to exceed twelve years in the wild.
