Misidentified: This is a Budgerigah, a common small parrot of inland Australia. This is the wild coloration, but ot is one of the most commonly kept cage birds on eartg and many colours have been bred incl. blue, white, green , yellow and god knows what else. It couldnt be more different to the Regent Bowerbird (sericulus chrysocephalus) which is at least twice the size and all silky jet black except for yellow 'helmet' and wing feather tips
