Description
Mistery Duck. Can you identify it? - MisteryDuck.jpg

Can anyone identify our fine-feathered friend in this photo? The angle
doesn't help but notice the distinctive beak. I can't find it in my
books.Taken with a Canon Sprint P&S camera.

Having checked my copy of Peter Scott's key to the Wildfowl of the World, I
think this is a Spotbill Duck (Anas poecilorhyncha) from India or China.
