Altough I just overviewd your site and did not make close looking at, I think
you did a great job. I am a new mammalosit working on small mammals. I think
one of the obvious mistake on this picture is wrong common name. The correct
common name shoul be striped field mouse. Scientifically as far as I know
"black" is not used. Also, if you want you can get correct subspecies of
Apodemus agrarius from me or Dr. Yoon who took the picture you used there.
Since Korean mainland and Cheju island also have the striped field mouse
(almost identical bye rough eyes), it is not that big mistake as far as I
know, but obviously wrong common name. Thank you for your effort!!

Hi, my name is Jae-won Choi, now I`m studying environmental chemistry in
Ehime University, Japan. Approximately 6 years ago, when I was taking the
photograph, I was studying in Dr. Yoon`s lab. I submit the frame to my
professor, because I was taking photo of rodentia in our lab.
I can`t remember the precise time, but the picture was taken in 1993 by me,
before I graduate. That`s all. I`d like to permit uploading the photo in
your site. But I don`t know whether my professor know about this. Maybe it`s ok.
