Distribution: South Primorye, North-East, Central and South China, Korea.
Habitat: meadows and openings in valley broad-leaved forests, dry open
oak woodland on mountain slopes. A rare species.
Flight period: July/early August.
Peculiar traits: Forewing length: 23-25 mm. The wings are black, the fore
wing has a wide white band, the hind wing has no band.
