Japanese white-eye is one of the resident birds of Korea.
They mediate pollination of Winter-blooming trees in Korea.

우리나라 남쪽 지방에 사는 텃새로 겨울철이나 이른 봄에는
동백꽃의 꽃꿀을 먹고 산다. 사진은 동백꽃의 꽃가루를 잔뜩
묻히면서 꽃꿀을 먹고 있는 모습. 이런 방식으로 겨울에 꽃이
피는 동백꽃은 꽃가루받이를 하게 된다(조매화).
