This is a casque-headed treefrog. Genus is probably Triprion,
possibly Corythomantis, maybe...... (quien sabe?) Anyway, such
treefrogs live in Mexican or Central American dry forests.
They back into a little hole in a tree branch, & plug the
opening with their unusually bony heads. This prevents water
loss from their bodies.
