NOW we get to the first set of primate pictures.
674-679 was a very curious young lady who couldn't
keep her hands out of the cookie jar.
In 682, we see a youngster annoying Dad.
Mom comes along and has to come repeatedly
to the rescue in 693, 694, and 695.
The guys in 696 are apparently drinking rainwater
that has collected in a little hole in the rock.
In 706, we see that mom has a built-in rumble seat.
In 710, we see that even baboons can form an effective
road block.
708 are "olive baboons" if I remember right,
while 700 and 702 are rather rare blue monkeys.
And from what I saw, there was absolutely no
reason for the guy in 690 to have that coloration,
if you catch my drift.
Altho that was the set that decided to play
"lets see how many times we can jump from
the branch onto the tin roof that the tourists
sleep under." Which was also quite a funny
video. I'll have to see how the videos post.
Kenya and Tanzania, Summer 2000.
Scanned from 6x4 prints of 35mm film
with a not-too-good scanner.
Released to the Public Domain,
but I would appriciate hearing about
commercial use of the photos.
