인도볼록진딧물 Indomegoura indica (Indian Aphid) 매미목 진딧물과 몸길이 유시충 약 4.4mm, 무시충 약 4.2mm이다. 몸빛깔은 오렌지색이다. 촉각(더듬이)은 검으나 제1·2더듬이마디와 제3더듬이마디 밑부는 거무스름한 노란색이다. 제3더듬이마디에는 50∼70개의 2차감각기가 있고 제4더듬이마디에는 1∼3개가 있다. 구기(口器:입틀)는 노란색이다. 뿔관은 검고 가운데가 볼록하며 끝부분에 그물 무늬와 테두리가 있다. 끝조각은 거무스름한 오렌지색이며 원뿔 모양이고 많은 센털이 있다. 원추리·흰나리·고추나무·팽나무·새콩 등의 식물에 기생하며 잎과 줄기에 피해를 입힌다. 한국·일본·중국·동남아시아 등지에 분포한다.
