willet (Tringa semipalmata) Willet, bird on Morro Strand State Beach, Morro Bay, CA - photo by Mike Baird, http://bairdphotos.com
18 April 2008. "We are finalizing our designs for the Audubon National Wildlife Refuge interpretive panels. If you remember, you were kind enough to allow the Refuge to display your image of a willet on the panel at no charge. I've attached the photo as a pdf for your reference. I'm in the process of securing signed permission for each of the photos on the panel, and was hoping you could send me your mailing address, so I can send you our standard contract. Basically, we request one-time rights on behalf of the USFWS to display your photo on this panel for the life of the panel. The form will just state that you have granted us permission to use your photo in this one location for this particular use only."
