The Atlantic white-spotted octopus, white-spotted octopus, grass octopus or grass scuttle (Callistoctopus macropus) is a species of octopus found in shallow areas of the Mediterranean Sea, the warmer parts of the eastern and western Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Indo-Pacific region. This octopus feeds on small organisms which lurk among the branches of corals.
The common blanket octopus or violet blanket octopus (Tremoctopus violaceus) is a large octopus of the family Tremoctopodidae found worldwide in the epipelagic zone of warm seas.
The tuberculate pelagic octopus or football octopus (Ocythoe tuberculata) is a pelagic octopus. It is the only known species in the family Ocythoidae. Ocythoe tuberculata is found in warm and temperate seas, especially in the Northern Hemisphere, such as the North Pacific Ocean off California.
