The common octopus (Octopus vulgaris) is a mollusc belonging to the faimily Octopodidae. Octopus vulgaris is found in the eastern Atlantic extends from the Mediterranean Sea and the southern coast of England to at least Senegal in Africa. It also occurs off the Azores, Canary Islands, and Cape Verde Islands. The species is also common in the Western Atlantic.
The Lilliput longarm octopus or the Atlantic longarm octopus (Macrotritopus defilippi) is a small species of octopus, a marine cephalopod mollusc of the order Octopoda. This species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean.
The spider octopus (Octopus salutii) a species of octopus of the family Octopodidae. This species is found in the Mediterranean Sea (off Morocco, Spain and Greece) and in the Atlantic.
The pink cuttlefish (Sepia orbignyana) is a species of cephalopod mollusk in the Sepiidae family, native to the southeast Indian Ocean. It is found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
The dwarf bobtail squid (Sepiola rondeleti) is a species of bobtail squid native to the northeastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, including the Strait of Sicily, Aegean Sea, Adriatic Sea, Sea of Marmara, and Levantine Sea. In the northeastern Atlantic, its natural range extends from the North Sea to Senegal.
