The sand lizard (Lacerta agilis) is a lacertid lizard (Lacertidae) distributed across most of Europe and eastwards to Mongolia.
The slow worm (Anguis fragilis) is a limbless lizard native to Eurasia. It is sometimes called a blindworm. Its German name, "Blindschleiche", is derived from the Old High German plintslîcho meaning "blinding creeper", perhaps because of its lustrous scales.
The sandfish skink (Scincus scincus) is a species of skink that burrows into the sand and swims through it. It is native to north Africa and southwestern Asia.
The common flying dragon (Draco volans) is a species of lizard endemic to Southeast Asia. Like other members of genus Draco, this species is known for its ability to glide using winglike lateral extensions of skin called patagia.
Stellagama is a monotypic genus of agamid lizards containing the single species Stellagama stellio. Common names include stellion, hardim, hardun, star lizard, painted dragon, starred agama, sling-tailed agama, roughtail rock agama and kourkoutavlos. It is found in Greece, Southwest Asia, and Northeast Africa.
The common basilisk (Basiliscus basiliscus) is a lizard found in Central and South American rainforests near rivers and streams. The basilisk is part of the corytophanid family. It is also known as the South American Jesus lizard, Jesus lizard, Jesus Christ lizard, or lagarto de Jesus Cristo for its ability to run on the surface of water.
