The common birdwing (Troides helena) is a butterfly belonging to the family Papilionidae. Globally it is found in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, peninsular and eastern Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Kampuchea, Thailand, Vietnam, southern China including Hainan, and Hong Kong.
The Sri Lankan birdwing (Troides darsius) is a species of birdwing butterfly found in Sri Lanka. It is the largest butterfly on the island.
The common mime (Papilio clytia) is a swallowtail butterfly found in south and south-east Asia. The butterfly belongs to the Chilasa subgenus, the black-bodied swallowtails. It serves as an excellent example of a Batesian mimic among the Indian butterflies.
