This is a picture of 'Poozer-2,' a caracal orphaned in the wild, and
rescued by the Kalahari Raptor Center <.>http://www.raptor.co.za>.
Recently, the three orphaned caracals were confiscated by the government
of South Africa; caracals over there are considered 'nusance animals' by
some people. I suggest that people visit the website, and express
concern and support of this rehabilitation center!
Also, there are a lot more wildlife pictures available from the site!
