3. CATHARTE VAUTOURIN (Cathartes californianus) = Turkey vulture (Cachartes aura)
The turkey vulture (Cathartes aura), also known in some North American regions as the turkey buzzard (or just buzzard), and in some areas of the Caribbean as the John crow or carrion crow, is the most widespread of the New World vultures.
5. VAUTOUR DES AGNEAUX (Gypaetus barbatus) = bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatus)
The bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatus), also known as the lammergeier or ossifrage, is a bird of prey and the only member of the genus Gypaetus. Traditionally considered an Old World vulture, it actually forms a minor lineage of Accipitridae together with the Egyptian vulture (Neophron percnopterus), its closest living relative.
