The slaty-backed flycatcher (Ficedula hodgsonii) is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. The slaty-backed flycatchers are found in Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and Thailand. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Order: Passeriformes, Family: Muscicapidae, Genus: Ficedula, Species: Ficedula hodgsonii (J. Verreaux, 1871), Synonyms: Ficedula sordida.
