The Bismarck ringed python, Bothrochilus boa, is a nonvenomous python species, B. boa, found on the islands of the Bismarck Archipelago. These snakes are nocturnal and fossorial. Order: Squamata, Suborder: Serpentes, Family: Pythonidae, Genus: Bothrochilus, Species: Bothrochilus boa (Schlegel, 1837).
