English: A Laggar Falcon with prey (Spiny-tailed Lizard - Uromastyx hardwickii) in its talons at Tal Chapar, District Churu, Rajasthan, India. A Sub adult Twany Eagle (Aquila rapax) wanted to snatch the meal from the Falcon and was chasing him. Here the Falcon has just settled on a tree stump and is looking out for the eagle predator.

The laggar falcon (Falco jugger) is a mid-sized bird of prey which occurs in the Indian subcontinent from extreme south-east Iran, south-east Afghanistan, Pakistan, through India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and north-west Myanmar.
