The highfin coralgrouper (Plectropomus oligacanthus) is a ray-finned fish species from the family of Serranidae. The scientific name of the species was first published in 1854 by Bleeker. This species is on the IUCN Red List as Sensitive, assessment year 2008. Order: Perciformes, Family: Serranidae.
