Yeah, we have them in Massachusetts too! They will eat just about any left over human food. Which I hope is Okay for them!
No chicken bones or anything like that though, I wouldn't want to kill them.
Leaving food out on the sidewalk may seem like a strange (bad habit) but let me tell you, it sure beats having your garbage cans chewed up by the various other wild creatures trying to get at the human food in the can.
