I believe this dog is not a Springer Spaniel but is in fact a Tri Coloured
Basset Hound puppy. The shape of the head, eyes nose and jowls, along with
the wrinkling of skin evident on the forelegs is typical of Basset Hounds.
So too are the large 'goofy looking' paws and the elongated ears. Springer
Spaniels (and any spaniels for that matter) have feathered ears that are not
typically as long as this puppy's.
