Green Aracari (Pteroglossus viridis) If you look at this...you will decide it's a big bird...right ? Well, you'd be wrong, this is more of a closeup than you think.
The green aracari is the worlds smallest Aracari measuring only 10 inches and the beak being only 2 1/2 inches long. It weighs in at only 125 grams. The home range is northern SA in Columbia, Venzuela, Guyana, and Surinam.
