The
Swahili Sparrow (
Passer suahelicus) was until recently treated as a race of
Grey-headed Sparrow (
Passer griseus). It lives in the savanna of southern Kenya and Tanzania. It hybridizes with the
Grey-headed Sparrow in southern Tanzania and possibly elsewhere.
