The Cape Eagle-owl (Bubo capensis) is a species of owl in the Strigidae family. It is found in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
