The Scaly-bellied Woodpecker (Picus squamatus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Afghanistan, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, and Turkmenistan. Its natural habitats are boreal forests, temperate forests, and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
