The Grey-capped Woodpecker (Dendrocopos canicapillus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, North Korea, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
