Yes, we were catching bullfrogs for a short nature film and this one was
unusually easy to catch. We caught several others at the same pond and they
all appeared normal. Anophthalmia (missing an eye) is a somewhat rare
congenital malformation in frogs, but the really unusual thing about this
frog is the missing nostril.
I fed the frog tonight and to my surprise it didn't seem to have any problem
catching crickets, once he saw them that is.
It's always nice to find something unexpected or different, but not to this extent.
