To whom it may concern:
I believe this is a picture of a white-wing dove, not a mourning dove.
This bird does not have the markings of a mourning dove, but it does
have some that are characteristic to a white-wing dove. These include
the white stripe at the bottom of the wing and the blue tint around
the eye. Its overall appearance is a smooth grey where a mourning dove
is brownish in spots and also has dark spots on it. This bird also has
a squared off tail which is characteristic of a white-wing dove.
Thank you,
