돼지사슴 Axis porcinus
사슴과(Cervidae)에 달린 동물. 어깨 높이 70cm, 몸무게 40kg쯤이며 초원이나 논에서 산다. 털은 황갈색이며 배는 어두운 색이다. 새끼에게는 흰 반점이 있으며 머리는 작고 다리는 짧다. 인도 북부, 스리랑카, 미얀마, 타이 등지에 분포한다.
