This photo was taken at the Auckland Zoo on February 27, 2000 with a
Nikon F-601. (My scanner stinks, so massive fixing is done on all pics!
Serves me right for getting a cheap scanner ) The zoo keepers has
just taken some basil leaves and rubbed them against various points in
the enclosure, placing new scents within the exhibit. When the lions
were allowed back in, they had a ball finding all the areas the leaves
had been rubbed, including the trees and rocks.
