Still not out of Siberian tiger pics- Siberian doing the rug thing - and my WWW page updated Hi guys and gals,
here is another one out of my seemingly endless stock of tiger pictures
(the truth, of course, is that I am just scanning too slowly :-)). Taken
in Hannover Zoo, September 1999, through a thick glass wall which
absorbs a lot of the light, resulting in sorta pale scans that need a
bit more than the usual correction - however, I think that cat is
definitely worth it.
My web site has also been supplied with a couple of new scans - some in
exchange for the old (flatbed) versions, some new, such as the bear pics
I posted yesterday. BTW, my web space is now 80 Megabytes which should
be sufficient for another 170 pictures. I have about 100 (I think) that
are still waiting to be scanned and uploaded, and I hope to have them
finished before May when the weather is likely to be good enough for
longer zoo visits. Can't wait to take some more new shots besides the
ones I have done during my recent film tests in Kruezen Animal Park.
Greetings from Germany -
Ralf
