I failed to give you the photo's details in my previous message. The snake
was less than a foot long when I took the picture and about the diameter
of a pencil. As they grow, Blizzard Cornsnakes lose much of the translucent
pink color and turn white. They sometimes have a small amount of yellow where
the normal cornsnake pattern is located. As you are probably aware, snakes
are difficult subjects to photograph and that one continually tried to crawl
away from me as I was trying to photograph him. He did hold still one time
and I was able to get this one good picture. We have two juvenile females
and this one male in our collection.

I took the picture using one of my Nikon 8008s cameras and a Nikkor 55mm
f2.8-Micro MF lens. I also used an off camera SB-16 Nikon Speedlight with a
Lumiquest diffuser attached. The negative was damaged by the processing
machine at the lab and had several scratches which I was able to remove in
the computer. (I don't use that lab anymore). No alterations were done to
the picture except for the repair of the scratches.
