"Darling, your breath smells bad... you should eat less fish" - Polar Bears in Hannover Zoo Hi,
this, I admit, is not as close-up as it may seem. It is a crop of about
two fifths of the original which had some nasty concrete enclosure walls
on it that I wanted to get rid of. BTW, I *usually* crop my scans but
normally just to center the object a bit. Plus, film emulsions sometimes
seem to get thinner at the borders if the negatives resulting in
artefacts on the scans which is another good reason for cropping. While
speaking of film, this, again, is Konica Centuria 400 which is way above
everything else that has 400 on it when it comes to scanning - my photo
retailer gave me a free Agfa Vista 400 and Agfa Optima 400 when I was
there last but both have been disappointing. Next one to test will be
Fuji New Superia 400 - if I post pictures taken with this, I shall make
it known to you.
See ya -
Ralf
