More European native deer - Fallow deer fawn in Lauenbrueck Animal Park Hi group,
while introducing you to the European members of the deer family, I
recently posted a picture of a roe deer buck. Here now is a juvenile
fallow deer female, taken in June 2000 in Lauenbrueck Wild Animal Park,
North Germany. While red and roe deer lose their spots upon maturing,
fallow deer adults tend to have sharper spots than the young ones.
Anyway, all of them make good photo subjects, and I shall hopefully have
some more among the scans still to come.
So long -
Ralf
