Been to Nindorf Wild Animal Park on Sunday - Twilight lynx taking a nap -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi guys and gals,
last Sunday supplied us with plenty of sun (although cold), so I took
the chance to take some pictures in Nindorf Animal Park, North Germany,
about 30 miles from where I live. Nindorf has mostly European animals,
concentrating on hoofstock, but some felines, bears, wolves and raptors
as well. Here now is another addition to my popular "sleeping cats"
series, featuring the European lynx under light conditions that couldn't
possibly have been more tricky. I had to place the camera on a log to
avoid movement, and with 1/45 second shutter time and 300 mm of focal
length there was yet a bit of motion blur. Under these conditions, the
Konica Centuria 400 does a remarkable job: I have never seen a 400 speed
film with a finer grain and better color balance as to negative
scanning. And if the pic still isn't crisp enough for you: I'll post
another scan of the same cat later which (I think) is even better.
Greetings from Germany -
Ralf
