Description
The Adventures of the Wilderness Family (aka The Wilderness Family) is a 1975 family movie that stars Robert Logan, George Buck Flower and Susan Damante-Shaw. The film had two sequels, The Further Adventures of the Wilderness Family in 1978 and Mountain Family Robinson in 1979. The filming location was the Gunnison National Forest in the state of Colorado. The film is rated G in the USA.

A family flees the city for a deep forest, to escape the pressures of life, and to help their sickly daughter.

City dweller Skip leaves his urban life behind indefinitely to seek fresh air for his daughter's health. His wife grudgingly sacrifices domestic comforts, while their darling boy Toby and his dog Boomer have the time of their lives roaming in the wild. Meeting wildlife however has its pros and cons, especially as not all bears are nearly as tame as a local glutton and a pair of cubs in need of adoption.
