Description
Nightwing is a 1979 American horror film directed by Arthur Hiller. The screenplay by Martin Cruz Smith, Steve Shagan, and Bud Shrake is based on the 1977 novel of the same title by Smith. Its tagline is "Day belongs to man, but night is theirs!" Killer bats plague an Indian reservation in New Mexico. A colony of vampire bats terrorize a small Indian community in New Mexico. Standard "Nature goes berserk" plot turns extra hokey toward the end when supernatural forces are discovered working through the bats.
