Yellowlegged Gull (Larus cachinnans)
When I took this photograph (Sao Jorge, Azores, 1991),
I thought this was the Atlantic subspecies of
the Herring Gull (Larus argentatus atlanticus).
Since then, it seems that ornithologists changed
their minds. Gulls are a swampy area...
